AFAM organizes the Fourth Week of Alzheimer

The Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's patients ( AFAM) is organizing the Fourth Week of Alzheimer occasion of World Day of the disease to be held on 21 September.
Activities will take place in four days and take place at the Villa of Knowledge and Arts Mairena del Alcor after 7 pm. Each day offers a different aspect of the disease.
The Monday will be the inaugural event with a panel of caregivers. Each will present their experience with the disease and how the Association has influenced their lives. At the same time stimulating workshops will be held as those made at the headquarters of Afam, in which patients participate.
The Tuesday is the day reserved for family physicians of our health center. Repeated attendance at the conference Matilde Mora and Antonio López Sutil. The first we discuss if possible prevent Alzheimer's and the second on sexuality in the Alzheimer's disease.
The Wednesday is the day of rest.
The Thursday will be the turn of Eva Cuartero, a neurologist at the Hospital of Valme. A year Dr. dementia unit will address a topic of great interest to caregivers, the dementias other than Alzheimer's.
The closing ceremony will be two very interesting intervention. Manuel Guillen to talk about sexuality in older people and how it changes over the years. Then have the presence of Salvador Vergara, famous and a regular contributor to specialist in internal medicine at the Hospital de la Merced de Osuna, we will offer a Letter to a caretaker.
